Adopt
Adding a new pet to your family isn't the same process for everyone. We understand that and have come up with more then one option for adopting your perfect pet. Our adoption services include both standard adoption and our Foster to adopt option. You can learn more about both programs.
Standard Adoption
With this option you would be applying to meet one of the dogs currently in foster with our rescue. Once a dog is posted for adoption we will begin accepting new applications Since we do not limit the number of applications we accept for one dog you aren't guaranteed to meet the dog you are interested in. Once approved we would add your name to the list for any of the dogs you wish to meet and the foster contacts people in the order of the list
Foster to Adopt
Foster to adopt is different because with this option you would be selecting a dog in need and becoming the acting "foster". Our rescue typically does not allow trial periods for traditional adoptions, because we prefer not to have dogs moved from home to home. However, if one of the dogs on our website is
listed as needing foster we allow adopters the opportunity to foster the dog with the intent to adopt. With this option you are granted first choice of adopting.
Areas We Adopt To
Currently we only adopt out within a 1 hour commute from the Buffalo Niagara airport. We will consider processing applications outside that area if the family has no other dogs in the home and is willing to come to Buffalo for the meet and greet. We do not provide transport services to out of town adopters.
We do not adopt within Canada.
